“It’s moments like this that remind me why I wait.”
Driven by a deep love for nature and the art of storytelling through images, from the quiet stillness of early-morning forests to the drama of predator and prey.
His work moves between wildlife and wide landscapes, and between continents: from Ranthambore and Kaziranga to the streets of Hanoi.
He is a patient photographer. The stories behind his prints speak of hours spent crouched in the undergrowth or lying low on a forest road, waiting for the light and the animal to meet.
He often chooses black and white to strip away distractions and let texture and form carry the image, as in his Kaziranga rhino with a myna on its back.
From jungle to old quarter
The Titan's Sentinel
I’d been tracking this massive Indian rhino through the tall Kaziranga grass for hours, my muscles aching from the stillness. Just as the light began to fade, a tiny myna landed right on its armored back. In that moment, the prehistoric scale of the beast and the fragility of the bird found a perfect, silent balance. I chose black and white to strip away the distractions, highlighting the raw, rugged textures of a bond as old as time.
